There is no over-arching ‘Greek cuisine’, as tastes vary from different regions, making for plenty of variety.

South Australia has a lot to offer in the way of Greek and Mediterranean food, with plenty of cafes and restaurants either specialising in Greek cuisine or serving Greek food as part of their menu.

Eros Kafe offers a wide range of Grecian delicacies including tiri saganaki, pastitsio, mousaka and spanakopitta. Coffee and traditional Greek desserts are also available.

Eros Kafe is one of the best places to watch the world go by in Rundle St, seated at the imaginative glass terrazzo tables. A wall plaque reveals Eros stands at what was once the entrance to the East End Market.
